Barbara Evetts is a mental health nurse and psychodynamic Counsellor

Key experience

• 24 years of NHS experience working in community out patient, day patient and in patient settings within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Adult Psychotherapy Services. 

• Trained to Masters level in Psychodynamic counselling.

• Extensive training and experience of parenting work where children and young people are showing distress through behavioural difficulties or through self harm. 

Barbara’s special interests include;

Working with adolescents experiencing low mood, self harm and relationship difficulties and working on the origins of difficulties, worries and trauma from the early years with young people and adults.
