Dr Katherine Hindley

Dr Hindley is a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience in both the NHS and privately.
Key Experiences: 

  • Qualified from Exeter University with a doctoral degree in Clinical psychology and a masters degree in Family therapy.

  • First degree in Philosophy and Psychology at Sheffield University. 

  • Works with children and families with all kinds of mental health and relational difficulties including anxiety and depression, behavioural issues, self-esteem, bullying, elective mutism, ADHD, Autism and eating issues.

  • Dr Hindley is also highly skilled in working with parents, schools and other agencies giving advice, therapeutic support and consultation.

  • She is skilled in Family/systemic therapy, CBT, Narrative therapy and EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing therapy).

  • She has previously consulted to the leaving care team in Taunton, where she was able to enable workers in helping children with very complex difficulties and Attachment Disorder.

  • Currently, Dr Hindley provides consultation support to the Family Nurse Partnership Teams in Ealing and Brent, who support teenage parents and their babies.
